How do I create a physical count ID in the Generate Inventory Tags window of Dynamics SL?

I used to be able to create Physical count ID's using the Generate Inventory Tags window (10.395.00). For some reason when I enter one in the Physcal count ID field now and process the window, the ID no longer gets saved.

Does any one know why I can no longer save the ID?

I have checked my permissions to ensure I have update rights to the inventory module and specifically that window (Which I do) so I do not know what the problem is. I would really love some help on this one.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question. Could you please provide your Dynamics SL version number?

Also, since the field "Physical Count ID" is a required field on the Generate Inventory Tags window (10.395), I'd be fascinated to know what kind of value is getting generated when you generate tags. The field I'm wondering about would be visible in PIHeader.PIID or PIDetail.PIID.

By any chance, do you have any customizations or 3rd party add-ons that affect physical inventory?
