Disabling a zoom/linked field with Modifier

I am trying to disable a zoom/linked field with Modifier. I changed the Zoom property for the field to False, which grays out the field, but when I hover the mouse over the modified form in GP the mouse pointer changes to the hand icon and I can still click on the field to open the zoom/linked window. I would prefer to not have to make the field invisible, especially since that makes it invisible in Modifier too.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Peter

    Thanks for the responses guys.

Tim - your suggestion to look for a hidden push button field to disable as well as the label is exactly what I needed to do.

My apologies as this is more a Dexterity perspective on the issue as I don't have Modifier in my current environment.

You have successfully done half of what you need to do, now you need to figure out the push button that is already hidden that is running the drill back code and disable that also.  On top of the label for the field you have already disabled is a push button that has the visible property set to false that is actually the field running the code.  Typically this is either a Push Button array field or a local Push Button created by the developer.  You need to disable that also.

If you send the window and the field I can see what that Push Button is called if that would help.

    Peter,

I tested and found same thing. How about adding new label  and hiding original label? This may solve your problem.

    Thanks
