We have both CRM online and SharePoint Online. We already have our production integrated with SharePoint online via the URL:

https://companyname.sharepoint.com/

I would like to set up our sandbox to also be integrated with SharePoint so that I can work on developing some things regarding that integration. Is it possible to integrate the sandbox instance to a second separate SharePoint site collection with a URL:

https://companyname.sharepoint.com/sites/sandbox

    Thank you that is helpful.

    Does it matter if one of them is at the root instead of within sites? As listed in my post.

    yes.. each sandbox instance can integrate with same or different sharepoint site.

    So if you have 3 instance DEV,UAT and PROD then you can create 3 sites as well

    companyname.sharepoint.com/.../PROD

    companyname.sharepoint.com/.../UAT

    companyname.sharepoint.com/.../DEV

    And enable document management.
