An end user is getting the following error: The record in table Gen. Journal Line already exists.
 
A screenshot is pasted below.
 
No such entries exist.  
 
So, why is this message appearing?

    Hi, This is a customization issue, which appears to be provided by Insight Works. Please contact them to resolve the issue, or uninstall their extension.

    Please delete the already existing lines in this journal and then try to import it again

    Can you try to clear out lines in that batch before re-importing. Hope this might solve your problem or else you can contact your partner to debug the same and resolve the issue.

    Looks like the solution you are trying to use is expecting the batch to be empty so please delete all entries in Journal Template Name='PAYMENT', Journal Batch Name='PAYROLL'

    Hi,
     
    The primary key of the General Journal line table is a combination of fields:
        1- Journal Template Name 
        2- journal Batch Name
        3- Line No.
    If all 3 are the same as an existing line then the system will say "Record Already Exists"

    Delete all entries in Gen. Journal Line where Journal Template Name = 'PAYMENT' and Journal Batch Name = 'PAYROLL'. This clears the duplicate line and resolves the error.
