3rd party application to Merge duplicated records?

Hi guys,

I have made a custom code that detects all duplicates (+500) on my system (Detect Duplicate Rules were off).

Also I created a code to "merge" them, updating the record (lead) from the oldest to the newer one. It updates some fields and some related entities such Notes, Activities and some custom ones. But now we have lots of custom fields and I don't want to manually add them to my code.

So, is there a tool that will merge records, but not only between 2 records, because sometimes the record has 3 or more duplicates?

    Hi Raz,

    Well what I expect is that it will keep the oldest record. And will update all the available data from newer records. So it will work as if the newer duplicates were an "update" from original record.

    I hope it makes sense?

    Hi Raul

    Yes I have already included this criteria, But just to let you know that you may find that 1 criteria alone will not suffice;

    Where Createdon = Oldest

    ModifiedOn = Recent

    What if the Master is the Oldest but the Duplicate has the Most recently Modified? SO we will need a hierachy of rules for matching duplicate conditions.

    Well basically I'll keep the older one (by Created On), and will be updating the data until the last record. That way I'll have the lastes updated data.

    HI Raul, Im releasing it now for Beta Testing. Currently Im refining the rules available to select the Master record.  How do you Plan to Identify your Master Record when Automerging your Records,

    So Far I have included No. of Activities, Completed Fields, modified on date, status reason etc

     Can you provide your Selection Criteria such as Field Values etc as this is where it gets complicated?

    HI Raul, I have developed a tool that will be released to the crm community very shortly as im still testing it, and this merges multiple duplicates, to do this you will need to include a hierachy of merge rules for the master record definitions so that when the merge needs to run multiple times on a record the correct master is selected
