Remove access to Item Creditors Maintenance Window

Good day 

Can you please advise what are the steps i can follow to remove access to the item creditors maintenance window. The idea is for users not to be able to link creditors to items when they are capturing Purchase orders. That linking should be done in the inventory module and not allowed when capturing Purchase orders. 

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Patience,

    The Item Creditors Maintenance window (or Item Vendors Maintenance window), by default, is given to users via either of these two security tasks: CARD_0407* or TRX_SALES_001* .

    These tasks are given to users via these security roles:

    OPERATIONS MANAGER*      

    PURCHASING AGENT*        

    PURCHASING MANAGER*      

    BOOKKEEPER*              

    CUSTOMER SERVICE REP*    

    OPERATIONS MANAGER*      

    SHIPPING AND RECEIVING*  

    If you want to remove access to this window from a user(s), you need to determine which security roles/tasks are giving the user access to that window, then remove those roles/tasks from the user's security.

    If the user is assigned custom security roles/tasks, you'd also want to look at those as well.
