HI all 

We have a business requirement to generate QR codes , and have a requirement to scan all details in one go 

Scenario 1 ::   Able to scan supplier QR code  all details , Item number , batch number ,  expiry date

scenario  2 ::  generate a label QR code  , once purchase order , production order is completed  and use it for internal transfer 
                      to scan item code and batch number in one go 

is there any functionality in D365 FO so that if we scan the details all should be scanned in one go is it possible ?

    Hi,
    You can use a GS1 bar code to meet your needs, you can refer to this official documentation: GS1 bar codes - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. The bar codes use a company-specific format that you define and manage by using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. GS1 support in Supply Chain Management dramatically simplifies the scanning process in warehouses where pallets and containers are labeled by using bar codes in GS1 format. Warehouse workers can extract all the required information through a single scan of a GS1 bar code. By eliminating the need to do multiple scans and/or manually enter information, GS1 bar codes help reduce the time that is associated with tasks.

    Hi kevin 

    Our business does not follow GS1 standards , they dont have item setup where it GS1 registered , so is there any other way than GS1 Format 
     
    Second question 

    How to generate ZPL code with  GS1 Format or simple zpl code from QR or barcodes
