Hello,

I would like to control the Unit Price from Sales Price List or Item Price restrict user modify unit price from Sales entries such as Sales Quote, Order, Invoice etc.

On the Sales page, managed to see the unit price but cannot override.

I would appreciate if someone could advise or share on the experience.

Thank you.

Best Regard,

Wei Ching

Two patterns I’ve seen adopted. One you have a field on the user setup to enable specific users to change prices. Acts as a manager override feature. Second is you have another field on the line level to display if a price has been changed. This then acts as a reporting feature to review by how much a sales representative altered the price to get the deal. Granted that this was in industries where the margin wasn’t wafer thin. If margins are sensitive you have wish to make the unit price field on the sales subform pages have an editable value of false.

All of the described are done with modifications. Appsource may have a ready to go solution but do your research and trial it.
