HOW CAN I MAKE A LIMIT ON A ITEM THAT IS ON SALE, LET SAY A GALLON OF MILK ON SALE IS 2.99 EACH AND I WANT TO 2 IS THE LIMIT AFTER THE SECOND GALLON IT SHOULD RING 3.49 EACH

HOW CAN I DO IT

    On the Item's Discounts tab, select 'Use a quantity discount pricing table', uncheck 'Discount odd items' and enter the following in the table:

    1         2.99

    2         2.99

    3         3.49

    I have try it but, when we ring up  the item  the first 2 shows 2.99 each after the third one, all three of them ring up 3.49.

    or maybe i am doing wrong

    nope , that means that the feature is bad for you.. ring #1.. 2.99 ring #2., 2.99 ring #3.. triggers the quantity feature, thus raising all to 3.99

    you need a custom plugin.. could do for you

    Yes, sorry about my hasty answer. I didn't test it enough. We use the RMSynergy Promotions module for this.
