SNC DATEV export does not contain Dimensions

Dear all,

We are using SNC DATEV to exchange data between the external accountant software (Germany) and Business Central.

We are facing that on the SNC DATEV Setup Card is included that in the exported data should be added the Global Dimension 1 and 2, but when the data is exported, the dimension is not visible in the excel file.

Did any of you faced this problem before and how could you solve it?

Hi gyengeln,

you can add the dimension fields to the export by adding the fields in the SNC DATEV Setup Card => Export => Additional Info for Export:

In this Page add the required fields:

When exporting the data this information is available in the csv-file in the columns "Additional Information" or in German "Zusatzinformation..."

Many thanks for the answer, this is very helpful and I believe it would be working well.

Although our accountant would like to see the Dimension under the KOST1 - Kostenstelle and I am wandering if do you know any option how we can add the data there (without manipulating the excel file).

Well... If there is no solution i can just copy paste the Zusatzinformation, but maybe there is a more professional solution for that.
