Restrict Posting in POs

Hey,

I am trying to figure out a way to restrict certain users so they can not POST in POs. The closest I got was setting G/L Entry to Indirect in permissions but then that restricts being able to see jobs and other things. Is this not an OOTB feature or a security filter issue?

Hello,

Note sure which Permission set you have given the User but make sure make sure the User has D365 Purch Doc, Edit. NOT Post. If y9ou made them a Super User then they can do anything. If the Users permission has the Vendor Ledger Entry Insert = Indirect and Delete = Indirect, this will give them posting capabilities, since Purchase documents require Vendor Ledger Entry table insertion permission.

You are awesome! Thanks I was able to blast the Vendor Ledger Insert and was able to accomplish the no posting in a PO
