Importing Connection Role In MS CRM 2016

Hi All,

I having trouble importing a list of Connection Roles into MS CRM 2016 using CSV or XML file because on "Map Record Types" screen entity name "Connection Role" is not display.
Is there any other way to import Connection Role?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Mohit,

Thanks for the reply, but I want to import connection role records only not connection.

Finally, I found the solution, like security role we can also import connection rule using solution import.

Can you elaborate? I have nearly 40 roles I need to import not migrate between instances

Hi folks,

I realise this is a really old thread but if, like me, you wondered how to get those roles across, here are the steps:

Open your "Maker Centre": https://make.powerapps.com

In your chosen environment create a new solution

In the solution select Add Existing > Other > Connection Roles

Add the Connection Roles you want to migrate into the solution

Export and import as usual
