Hi All,
Is there anyway an admin can get notified in business central of some specific user tries to open a page or or some specific field?
Regards,
Opening of pages is less achievable without modification. The idea of changes is doable though. You can go for change log which is more of a review after the fact. Or there is workflow and you can set notifications that way. As an admin I would look at Power Automate or logic apps for this - store the data elsewhere plus have teams or outlook notifications. Keeps it outside the application directly but you can tap into events like when a record is inserted, modified or deleted. I think this in tandem with change log (in the application) let’s you know when something has happened and what it has been changed from/to.
Hi,
Yes you can do this. You need to do customization on page event and then can generate a notification for a specific user. Otherwise Josh have thoroughly explained about ways other than customization that you can use.
