Quarantine orders when using AWMS

Dear Members,

I was using Quarantine orders on product receipt for Inspections, but we have to use Advanced WMS now and we have made some customizations to split quantity based on Inventory status but i see that quarantine orders are not generated when AWMS is used.

Is this standard or could quarantine orders still be generated on product receipt while using AWMS?

Pls. share your inputs.

    Hello,

    Quarantine orders can't be used with Advanced Warehouse.  You can still use the quality management process to create quality orders.  Upon release of the quality order you can set the status on the inventory to a blocking status if you still don't want the inventory to be used after it's in quality.

    Is there a specific reason to this? Yes i can autogenerate quality orders on product receipt with AWMS.

    But the customer requires to quarantine the items until inspection is completed and Quarantine orders are more handy.

    Pls. share additional inputs if possible.

    I'm not sure why it's not supported.  I supposed they assume you will use inventory status with advanced warehouse.  While tied to a quality order the inventory isn't available then when the quality order is released as long as you use a blocking status the inventory isn't available either.  I guess it's easier than moving it between different warehouses to achieve the same result.
