Automatically sync Dynamics CRM contacts to Outlook contacts list??? (Dynamics 365 App for Outlook)

Is there not a way to automatically sync Dynamics 365 Contacts to the Outlook contacts list/address book? 

Example: any contacts added in CRM will sync to Outlook address book? If this is not possible, I have lost faith in Outlook integration.

    Hi ,

    Yes you can do this  by going to  Settings > Administration > System Settings > Synchronization -> select contact options.

    This does not sync them to the Outlook address book. Also, after deleting a contact in Outlook, it will not resync from CRM? 

    The contacts only show up in the Dynamics 365 Contacts.

    I know this is an old question, but I ran into the issue with deleting an Outlook contact and it no longer syncing.  I reached out to MS and they provided the below solution which seems to work.

    Can you try to go to Mailboxes under Settings > Email Configurations > Mailboxes. From there click on your mailbox,  then click to Test and Enable Mailbox and check the “If this mailbox was previously configured to synch with another organization…”.
