missing inter store trx BUT FROM the source store

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

i sent inter store transfers...

Store A to Store B...

Issued, Commited...

However one doesnt show in item movement report, so any items in that transfer are not showing in the transfers and thus not deducted.

So Store A shows commied, po shows in the transfers etc... however

no items deducted, as if the trigger for movement didnt work.

STORE B received all ok

Any IDEA ? tried these sqL' but they are for receving side only

Can you be more specific about what you mean by HQ client messing up the transfer? It should almost never be necessary to disable HQ client. It should upload all outgoing transfers to hq regardless of whether their contents have been sent, but it will not create the corresponding incoming transfer and send it down to the receiving store (if you have this option enabled in the configuration) until the transfer is issued and committed. Up until that point, you should be able to alter the transfer as much as you like, and any changes will be uploaded to HQ within the hour when the next 401 processes.

But you are saying that the transfer itself completes without issue, but the changes in quantities from the transfer aren't reflected when you run an item movement report? Does this happen in Store Ops as well as Headquarters?

Also, whether the transfer is open or closed shouldn't affect whether you can print labels for it, as you can just change the listing from "Show Open" to "Show All" in the label wizard. But maybe you were just listing an example of why you might have an open transfer, as in it wasn't leaving the store until labels were printed for it.

    figured it out i think....

"A transfer created at store A shows up in the list of closed item transfers with quantity sent equal to quantity ordered, "

    YES

but the actual item quantities aren't altered?

NO THEY ARE ALTERED, just not in movement

And Store B is able to receive it without issue, and it shows up as closed in HQ manager?

    YES

problem is if you leave the PO or TRANSFER for the transfer or po in question open , like to print labels, and you don't CLOSE it, then HQ CLIENT will mess up the transfer,.... so this also means you need to DISABLE HQ CLIENT, if you use po/transfers... else it could interfere

Sorry, it's a bit hard to follow what your saying. A transfer created at store A shows up in the list of closed item transfers with quantity sent equal to quantity ordered, but the actual item quantities aren't altered? And Store B is able to receive it without issue, and it shows up as closed in HQ manager?
