Scheduled flow to extract data from Power Bi report

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by

I need to build a Power Automate flow that extracts data from a Power Bi report (csv or xlsx) and places the extract in a Sharepoint folder.

The flow should be launched automatically every day.

I have already created a button in the Power Bi report. When we click on this button, an extract is placed in the Sharepoint folder,

but I don't know how to make this flow a scheduled flow.

Can you please help me to find a solution for this flow ?

Thank you in advance

    Hi,

There is an effortless way to implement what you are looking for:

Automatically export Power BI Reports to files in SharePoint using Power Automate - michelcarlo

Here documentation related to creating a scheduled flow:

    Hello @Kenneth Chaves

    Thank you for your response.

This does not help me because I need to export data in csv or xlsx format and not in png format as indicated in the first link.

manually, we can export data like this:

    pastedimage1636012922871v1.png

    pastedimage1636012965709v2.png

But I need to do it automatically with a Power Automate flow for example.

    Hi sarraHa

Have you found a solution for this in the meantime? I'm trying to achieve the same thing (i.e. have automated export of PowerBI to a .csv file)
