Category hierarchy restriction

Hi,

I have a requirement from the customer. Is it possible to restrict relating products to the categories which have parent category?
They want to be able to relate the products only with the categories on the lowest level.

For example here:

Only Category "Products" can be assigned products.

    Hi, I don't think there is standard configuration to control it. You will need customizations for your requirement.

    Hi Michal,

    Each hierarchy consists of a parent category and a structure of subcategories. According to the document description, the subcategory and the parent category are associated. When the subcategory is activated, the parent category is automatically activated; at the same time, when subcategory is associated, the parent category is also automatically associated.
