Plugin not working on creation with Excel Online

Hello Everyone,

I have registered a plugin on creation of an entity. The plugin works fine when I am creating it by not using "Open in Excel Online" option; while it doesn't work when the record is getting created from excel online. Please help!

which message and entity did you register your plugin?

It's a custom entity. I registered on 'Create' of <entity>

Execution - Pre-operation

Execution Mode - Synchronous

The plugin is simply creating records in 2 entities.

Hello,

How do you know that your plugin is not being triggered? Can you put tracing in order to check?

In addition, The records from Excel Online might being get updated in CRM while your plugin is registered on Create.
