    Hi,

Is it possible to post your plugin code? Usually that error means that the code is trying to read a value which has no value assigned to it.

That is not possible , due to some security reasons.

is there any alternate way Thomas?

    Hi

You are trying to use an object of but it is null. Debug and find out.

    Hi,

This is because you are using a field in the plugin which has the null value.

Please go through the following threads.

    Hope this helps.

We received a similar error. Our error was triggered by a interface issue.  The program that was writing to Dynamics had the status reasons but not the appropriate status code that coincides with the reason.  Lost > Customer Cancelled then the opportunity was awarded to us (YAY) Won > ? (they left a Customer Cancelled status code) which couldn't be updated in Dynamics.

    Hope that helps others.
