Address is invalid for order ###### of type Sales order

Am getting an error "Address is invalid for order ####### of type Sales order " when I am trying to release to warehouse using Advance warehousing. Kindly let me know if i have missed any setup.

Hi, this occurs when the address in Sales order is no longer matching with address changed in customer master data. Simple fix is to update sales order address on SO header section and apply to all lines and confirm Sales order again. This is painful process though, so ask developer to create batch to update it.

Hello Dwarahkesh,

Check the address format setup for the country used in SO delivery address. See if all the info as per format is entered.

As many other people mentioned in this post, the issue is fixed when you use an address with the correct address format. I had the same issue and I tested it.

The address format must be valid according to the country's format ID.
