Tax Schedules

We have customers where their purchases are exempted from tax. I created a tax schedule for those particular transactions where the 'taxable' option is not ticked, but a tax value is still being calculated.

Not sure what I missed, these customers all have the same salesperson ID.

This amount has to be manually removed every month.

Thanks

What is the Sales Tax Option for the entered item number from the sales transaction?

Go to the Item Maintenance window to check the Sales Tax Option for the items which are used for your Sales Transaction. If any of the items has set as taxable with Tax schedule ID, while entering Sales Transaction you need to manually delete the tax in Sales Transaction Item Detail Entry window. Otherwise change the items Sales Tax Option to Based on Customer and remove the Tax Schedule for your desired customers and then create the Sales Transaction without tax.

    Hope this helps!!!
