Hello,

Has anyone upgraded MDA(Multidimensional Analysis) from GP2010 to GP2013? I've searched for an upgrade article or posts but could not find any. Does anyone have a good link regarding an upgrade for MDA or some steps taken for an upgrade to MDA?

TIA,
Jae

Thanks for your replies. I did end up upgrading from GP2010 to GP2013 successfully back in December. Thanks!

    Hi Jae,

As Victoria told, MDA is a part of core Dynamics GP. You will try with common procedure to upgrade, it will just work.

Also please refer the following link.

    Jae,

MDA is part of the core Dynamics GP code and nothing special has to be done when upgrading from GP 2010 to GP 2013, it will just work. We've done this a number of times with no issues.

I took a customer from GP 10 to 2010 using the same .DICs from GP 10 and adding appropriate pointers within the .SET file.  It worked great ever since.  I am looking to do the same when upgrading them to GP 2015 as it appears to still be "supported" in GP 2015, although I will have to test to ensure MDA is available via the Web Client...
