Payables Management setup information is missing or damaged

Hi,  This morning our AP team tried to launch the "Transaction Entry" window from the purchasing module in Dynamics GP 2010 and they received the message:  The Payables Management setup information is missing or damaged.  I will try to run check links on Payables tables of the Purchasing series, but have any of you ran into this?  Is there something I can do that is certain to fix this?

Thanks for your time.

Digging further into this, I found that the table PM40100 on the company's database is empty.  Looking at some backups, I found that this table had just one entry, but it looks like it contained the "PM Next Payment Number" or "Next Voucher Number".  This seems critical to GP and is probably the reason why we are having an issue.  Does check links reconstruct this?  Or should I restore the system?

Open Payables Management Setup window (Purchasing>>Setup>>Payables), click the Options button and make sure the default values in this window are populated.

If restore is an option I would go that route. This would mean all data entered since the backup will be lost. The other option is to go to Payables Setup and re-enter the setup information. Hopefully you know the last voucher and payment numbers used.
