We are using D365FO with Intercompany setup and landed cost / voyages with a setup in Tracking Control Center.
We experience some strange issues, where next steps for us will be trying to replicate in Developer environment for debugging + MS support case.
Could be interesting to hear if anyone else has experienced this:
When updating the "Tracking" on a "Voyage" there are several rules setup in Tracking control center, that updates for example Voyage Status and Estimated Delivery date on the Voyage Header + PO-lines
The issue:
- Some times we experience that nothing happens when updating for example an end date on a leg in tracking - So even though we put actual end date on a leg, and the status on the voyage should change according to the setup - it doesn't
- In some cases it helps to switch browser from Edge to Chrome
- In some cases it helps to switch browser from Chrome to Edge (both scenarios - even on the same laptop)
- If it doesn't work in either - we solve it by going to "Tracking Control Center" => "Status update", remove an activity configuration line and add the exact same line again.
So tracking control is some how "dying" (and when updating tracking we don't see the small pop-up with "please wait while processing your request") - the rules do not apply and Voyage Header and PO-lines on the voyage are not updated. And by deleting and adding the same setup in Tracking Control Center it starts working again.
It has been replicated multiple times outside our network, ruling out any special browser policies etc. in our internal network.
We have not been able to identify what triggers this scenario - so hard to replicate in test/developer environments - but we have seen the issue on our current test environment which is on the latest version: 10.0.43
