How do you attach a file to a payables transaction? (GP 10)

I tried to attach the actual invoice in pdf format by clicking the note next to the voucher number, then clicked attach to pull in my pdf.  When I did this the file looked very blurry and just not legible.  Why is that?  What am I not doing right?  I am trying to attach a copy of every invoice to the transaction in order to become paperless.

    did you use the OLE buttom [paper clip] to attached the file? then you will be asked if you want the attachment as an icon which you can double click later to open the file.
