Installing latest SQL 2008 R2 Service Pack 3

Hi All,

We currently run GP 2010 SP4 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server with SQL 2008 R2 SP1. I'd like to update the SQL instance to at least SQL 2008 R2 SP2 but does anyone know if there's any issues updating to the latest CU13 or even SP3 that recently came out ? 

This is our current GP 2010 version -

I've searched on here and done lot's of googling but can't seem to find any definitive answers.

    Thanks but we already found the issue, the VM had a hard limit of 4GB of memory set in vSphere for some reason. We had given it 8GB of memory and if anything performance had gotten worse. It was then when I doubled the memory to 16GB it became almost unusable. We noticed 10GB of memory ballooning in vSphere and then found the limit of 4GB had been set, we changed it to unlimited and now the system is running nicely.

    Hi Jonathan, thanks for the response I did actually read that article and since we were only running SP1 I went straight to SP3. So far no one has reported any issues but we'd been having performance issues due to another issue which we only just resolved so will see what happens next week and report back if I find any issues.
