MS CRM 4.0 Can not login to CRM after Update Rollup install

Hi,

I have a new installation of MS CRM 4.0 on Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008. It works fine till Rollup Update 3 is installed. However, after I install either of the higher Rollup Updates (4/5) and the server is re-started. It gives the following error when I try to login: -

Business Management Error
You are trying to create a user with a domain logon that does not exist.
Select another domain logon and try again.

If I install either of the Rollup updates (6/7/8/9) it promts the following error at logon: -

Invalid User Authorization.

The internal error is  - "Could not find GUID for server <myServerName>$"

I searched for such error in another thread in this forum, but that did not help.
Any hint in this matter shall be greatly appreciated.
