Feedback on Zappysys SSIS PowerPack for migration to Dynamics 365 online?

I have used Kingswaysoft in the past for migrating data to Dynamics CRM Online but in my current project  some consultants recommend Zappysys SSIS PowerPack - https://www.zappysys.com/products/ssis-powerpack . I had never heard of it and don't have experience with it. Can anyone share their experience with Zappysys in general and more specifically when using it for migrating data to CRM Online,

Kind regards,

Joris

I havent used the Dynamics components for either of the 2 providers, however, I do have ample exposure using products from the 2 companies. My overall experience can be summarised as follows:

    Zappysys
Pros: The connectors are well thought out, and provide a wider range of options in configuring APIs. The UI is more user friendly (only relative to Kingswaysoft, but this is my own personal opinion) and intuitive.
Cons: Their connectors always seem to be stuck at an older API version. I have been exposed to working with their Google and Salesforce API connectors and they were always behind 2-3 versions or more than the current version (not including beta) in the market.
    Kingswaysoft
Pros: More frequent feature releases, i.e. more recent API versions being used as part of their connectors. Faster turnaround time from support (relative to Zappysys)
Cons: Their connectors do not persist metadata previously configured and changes can reset previously configured settings. The UI isnt as intuitive (just my personal opinion)

    Hi Joris Poelmans,

Since you are experienced with KingswaySoft data integration software you are best to stick with it.

[EDITED-2019-03-28] One thing that you want to keep in mind is, there are a lot of special corner situations when working with Dynamics APIs. If you choose a solution that doesn't handle those special situations properly, you could easily get stuck or waste a lot of time, particularly when you stump upon one of such issues. Other than that, if you are happy with what you have and you believe that you have fully tested the solution, there is no reason that you should change, as any changes would involve additional effort.

    Hi Daniel,

I have worked with Zappysys complements before as a customer, and they are thoroughly professional. I currently work with Kingswaysoft components and i don’t think our security was ever threatened or harmed when using either of these components. I would not support your view of Zappysys at this time, but I speak for my experience alone.

    Hi,

I have not explored ZappySys in depth so I cannot comment on their business or products. In saying that, I have found the KingswaySoft products to be excellent and I have not found the need to diverge from them. You will need to decide what products you feel comfortable using.

[EDITED-2019-03-28] I would agree to Adrian Begovich's point above. It is important to note that every API has its own quirks and caveats. One's experience with a product is only relevant if it is about the same mentioned API - which is Dynamics 365 Online in this thread.

    Hi Daniel,

Urvi Patel is the sole director of ZAPPYSYS LLC according to Open Corporates, but I cannot find much more information on him.
