Business Central on premise integration to Dynamics365 Sales

We want to connect our Business Central and Dynamics365 Sales. I have already create a non interactive user for the Connection (Integration administrator role) and i have set up the Solution for the Integration.

What do we have to do else? I only found a description for the on premise version until this step. Do I have to use the Setup Assist in Business Central like for the Cloud Version now?

Can someone post a description for connecting with the on premise Version?

Hi Marco,

The provided link just talked about installation of Business Central Integration Solution, but not about how we do the configuration?

Can you please help me in steps which talk about how we do the configuration so that the installed solution know which business central to talk to.

My scenario is I have On-premise BC and On-premise D365 CRM both DEV and Prod environment. Now I want to connect these two on-premise system.

Hello,

Below are the steps to activate CRM integration with Business Central.

1) Activate 365 connection setup in Business Central

--> Provide 365 Sales URL and Authentication Details

--> Specify whether Automatic creation of Sales order or Sales Quote in BC

--> Click on Enable - this will activate all Sync job Queues

2) Verify the table mapping. You can add any other standard field in mapping

3) Sync (Couple) BC Sales persons with 365 Sales users (Sync will not start until this get done)

4) If you already have customer created in BC and Account in 365 Sales. it needs to couple manually.

Hi Saurab,

When I am going for Set up Dynamic 365 Sales connection, it is asking me to enable the connection to Common Data Service

I do not want to connect to CDS. In my case I would like to connect to MS CRM 2016 On-Premise

Can you please enlighten the community what did you do after you encountered the above CDS/Dataverse error? You can also point to the right direction by pasting any additional links that may have helped you achieve BC On-Prem integration with CRM On-Prem
