Disabling an entity

For example, the Leads entity. Hopefully this doesn't require any coding but if it does, whats the easiest workaround?

So users don't get confused - we've stopped using Leads

Just remove the privileges for the Lead entity on the respective security role. Set the Access Levels for Create, Read, Write, Assign, Share, Append and Append To to 'None'. That way you will ensure nobody sees the Lead entity.

    Hi,

You cannot disable entity, but you can do some workaround that does not require any code, and I think your purpose is to 'Hide' the entity from Sitemap as well so that user will not be getting confused and to clean your view.

    1. Prevent the user to see the entity that you want to hide, for example: Lead, by using Security Role:

For example, the user is assigned to Scheduler and do not need entity Lead to appear since it is annoying and let them confused.

If you turn off the Read privilege, the User cannot see the Lead anymore.

It is also can hide Lead in all of the CRM Web, including view, adv find, sitemap as well.

    2. Second thing is using Sitemap editor to hide, just go to sitemap editor and then you disable the subarea that having lead.

    So here we go

You also can show hide by using Add Privilege function.

    And here is the result.

    Before:

    After:

This is to hide Lead in the sitemap, but if the user still have privilege access to read Lead, he will still can see Lead record in the CRM, for example when accessing the Advance Find.

    Hope it helps!
