Need to delete document from Document Attach

The user accidentally added an attachment to the Z-US$ currency setup. When they delete it, it goes into the DELETED tab on Document Attachment Management window but still shows a yellow attachment icon and still shows that it has an attachment. This will not delete. And every transaction they try to enter shows an attachment, as do the historical transactions.

In the Document Attachment Setup window there is a checkbox that they do not have checked to allow deleing documents. The questions are:

Will checking the box allow them to clear the attachments completely and return the currency to having no attachment?
If so, will the historical transactions no longer show as having an attachment? They weren’t supposed to have one.

Nola,

The only way is to remove the Attachment from the Backend.

The Allow attachments to be deleted only changes the status, but not remove the actual document.

In my test, changed the Document to a Delete Status, then found the Attachment_ID with Deleted in the CO00104 Table.

Using the Attachment_ID, then deleted the records for the Attachment_ID in the CO00101, CO00103, & CO00104 Tables.

Then open the Currency Z-US$ Setup Window nad Deleted the Note.
