Hi there,

I know it is possible to copy a quotation from one customer to another with ease. But copying quotation incl. the same prices to different customers are not possible in standard BC as I see it :-(

The situation could be like this.
The government what's to build a new road and are sending the project out as a Tender for everybody to bid on. We are a sub-supplier and will be ask by multiple customers to deliver quotes for the tender.

We make one quotation with special prices etc. and now we “just what to copy” it all to different customers incl. same prices/discounts etc. as the “original” quotation.
Hereby all customers will receive same prices etc. for the same tender!

How to do it?

Bonus info.: 😊 We are currently on BC20 but are upgrading to BC23 within a few month.

Sorry, apparently I am not wise enough to answer any of the post's below so I add my additional information her below:
---------------------------------------
Thanks for the replay but it does not cover what we would like to do :-)

The copy function will only allow to either copy:
- to same customer with no recalculation of Sales prices
- to same customer with recalculating sales prices
- to new customer with recalculating sales prices.

We would like to copy:
- to new customer with no recalculation af sales prices.

But this will BC not allow - BC will only allow to same customer we copy from.

A different way could be that BC allowed to change customer on sales header without recalculating sales prices etc. but for now BC will not allow this either :-(
I have the same question (0)

Hi, When using Copy Document, using the Recalculate Lines function will recalculate the line prices.
But the premise is that you maintain these data in your price master data.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Hi, if this is the case, you need to manually create the header first (select the customer), and then when using the copy function, it should be possible without enabling the Include Header.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

it should work, but I guess you are not following the correct steps previously. Try the below steps:

1 create a new sales quote, populate the customer, then do the copy sales document
2 fill out the doc no, you want to copy from. in this example, it's 1002
3 if the price is different then set the recalculate lines to yes, click ok
