Issue with enum transaltion on Item Journal

Hello,

We have identified an issue in Business Central v27.1 and v27.2 across multiple localizations (W1, NO, DK, AT) where the Entry Type field in the Item Journal is not translated consistently.

In the Norwegian localization, with the language set to Norwegian Bokmål (Norway) - ID 1044, the table field contains the correct Norwegian value. However, the page field still displays the text in English.

In the Austrian localization, with the language set to ENU - ID 1033, we observe the opposite behavior. The table field is correctly displayed in English, but the page field always remains in Austrian German, regardless of the selected language.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a known workaround or fix for this problem?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello Szymon,

In BC v27, table and page captions are translated independently (as per Microsoft docs). This can cause language mismatches on pages across localizations. It’s not configurable. Only options are overriding the page caption or waiting for a Microsoft fix.

OussamaSabbouh is right. This is a standard issue that has been mentioned many times in the forums. We can only wait for Microsoft to resolve it.

    Thanks.

This is a known BC v27 issue. Enum translations for tables and pages are handled separately, causing language mismatches; no fix exists except waiting for Microsoft or overriding captions.

    Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints.

    Two languages?

    Best Regards

Thank you very much everyone for explainations! Let's wait and hope for Microsoft to fix it quickly :)
