I'm currently testing the "(Preview) Follow-up emails" feature (also known as the Supplier Communications Agent) in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations / Supply Chain Management, to automatically follow up on unconfirmed purchase orders (i.e., those with no confirmed delivery date).
Context:
- Feature is enabled via Feature Management
- Email parameters are fully configured (Microsoft Graph, sender address, OAuth authentication OK)
- Follow-up query is set up to target purchase orders with:
- Requested delivery date = today
- Confirmed delivery date = empty
- Vendor has a valid email address
- User has System Administrator role
❌ Issue:
No email drafts are being generated in the (Preview) Follow-up emails page, even after manually running the query.
What I’ve checked:
- Test data meets all criteria
- No visible errors in system logs
- Feature is active and visible in the UI
Questions:
Is this a known limitation or issue in the preview?
Are there any undocumented conditions required for Copilot to generate drafts?
Has anyone successfully used this feature in a European (France) environment?
