Email Template using HTML

i want to create an email template using HTML and also want to insert images, so far i searched and got that only url of images can be inserted in HTML template.

so how can i create such a template having HTML table and images.

    Hi,

    The template is text only. You can have an HTML table because HTML is expressed as text, but you can't have any images directly embedded in the template. If you don't have a publicly accessible website to make the images available form, you can upload them to photo bucket or some other free service and link to them there.

    You'll want the image as a link in the email anyway, because that'll reduce the size of the emails going out.

    The out of the box email templates are not really up to to the modern demands of sending engaging emails. They are more designed for the every day email needs.

    To get HTML templates the best approach is to use a service such as click dimensions that has a fantastic html template engine and click/open tracking. See http://clickdimensions.com/
