Pre-World War II Depreciation Start Dates

Hi:

After having imported fixed assets from Excel with the correct dates, I'm finding that the Depreciation Start Dates of some of the assets are showing pre-World War II dates such as 1942 instead of correct dates such as 2015 and 2016.

Again, the Excel source file shows the correct dates.

Has anyone ever known of such an oddity in Business Central Fixed Asset Cards?

Thanks!

John

    Hi

I never tried to enter the date as date in configuration package. I always enter them as text and in format such as 2022-04-03

and never had an issue. Maybe try this method.

Hi, I had a similar problem when importing other data. I don't know if it's the same. It was because it showed up correctly in Excel, but it wasn't actually in date format. You can change this column to Date in Excel first, and see if the year 1942 comes out in Excel?

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
