Validation of Other Tender Type

We have setup an Employee Charge Tender Type and would like to require the field NOT be left empty when this tender type is used.  Currently cashiers can select Employee Charge and leave the field blank at checkout.  Is there a wild card I can use for Validation Mask on this Tender Type to require something be entered or would I have to force they enter a specific amount of characters and use #### for example?

    One more question...If I change the Tender Type from Other to Account will this use my Customer list for validation?

    You can use the ### to require 3 numbers to be entered.  You can use the * for any character

    The customer has to be an On Account Customer with a credit limit as I remember

    If I setup On Account Customers with 0 finance charge, will AR have to go through the close billing cycle process before making adjustments to the customer account?

    0% charge means nothing to the program, one can make adjustments anytime, one does have to close the billing cycle each period though
