Project Accounting - Confirmation

Good day all - just a quick note to confirm - to get Project Accounting with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 the client needs Starter and Extend Pack - correct?

Can anyone suggest an option that might be a better fit for a client that is moving from QuickBooks and wants that ability to assign costs to catagories without the whole Project Accounting set up?  This is a small company - but big money moving around various projects.

    Hi Bill

    You are correct the client will need starter and extended pack.

    You can try using Analytical Accounting for this.

    As an alternative, Encore Business solutions has a project tracking module that may work for you.

    If I am not mistaken there are a few other project accounting 3rd party products available as well.

    I have used the Encore product in the past when GP project accounting was just too much setup and too elaborate for the client.
