Codeunit 1297 - SendRequestAndReadResponse

Dear all!

The case : I am having to do a post request using http method.

What i need to know is , when exactly, does the post request in the sendrequestandreadresponse procedure, occurs?

Because there are times that i am getting a timeout error in the getwebresponse , which is called by getresponse procedure ( codeunit 1299) , and i would like to clarify that this timeout occurs after my post request.Which means that my post request has successfully occured and the problem is with the response that i am getting from the other side.

    Danielle , first of all thanks for your responses.

    I think that you have misunderstood the case.

    The only thing that i need , is to clarify , when does the actual send request occurs in the code.

    Inside the SendRequestAndReadResponse Procedure , the code only checks for the response and i cant find anywhere the lines which are dedicated in the send request

    I think that i managed to understand whats going on.

    I am getting a timeout error in the httpwebrequest class, getresponse method.

    Searching through the code i found out that i am basically getting the error in this line.

    Since i do not know how .net framework works , it took me some time to realize between a webrequest object and webresponse object.

    Now, when it comes to the timeout error itself , have you ever experience that?

    I believe its because the webresponse its not disposed correctly..
