I might be missing something simple here...
How do I set up STD cost with effective date for the future?
I want to set up item Standard Cost in the system.
The new standard cost will take effect on a future date (say - the first day of the month)
I create the Item Price record, and populate the "From Date" field ?
We want to calculate and prepare the new standard costs in advance and then get them to get activated on the date of the new period. obviously we do not want to have to come to the system and press the activation button in exactly midnight.... How do I perform this business process?
But when I activate the price, it seems to be taking effect immediately, on the date of activation:
