VBA License Error

Hi, we have been testing a new server install for a client and there is extensive VBA customisations.  Some of the user forms use the ListView component.  The server is going from W2K8 to W2K12.  Now, here is the interesting issue.  When opening the Great_Plains project there are no errors despite 4 forms using a list view.  If we open another project with a form using a list view component we get a message "License information for this component not found.  You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment".  If we remove the form VBA functions fine in that project.  Trying to add the List View to a new form fails as well, except when in the Great_Plains project.  Can't work out for the life of me why it works in one project and not another.  Cheers

Have you check the GP registration key?

Thanks for the reply but this is a windows ocx issue and not a GP licensing issue.  Cheers.

    Hi Robert,

It's a long shot, but have you tried re-installing VBA on the machine?

I just checked the GP 2013 install disc, and it looks like there is a VBA65 directory that contains two MSI files.

The VBA directory and those two files do not appear to be on the GP 2010 disc--so I don't know why they were added to 2013.
