Unit cost of ingredients of items in Recipes

So created a test item and allocated a purchase price of EUR 5 per kg as per below

In a particular recipe card i added this item but the unit cost wasn't populated automatically. Does the user have to manually key in the unit cost of items in recipes ?

Recipe's are not part of the out of the box Business Central functionality. You must have an extension or custom app who you should ask for help.

standard BC handles discrete manufacturing, and doesn't handle process based manufacturing such as recipe, batch orders etc. Talk to your team and find out which 3rd party extension has been installed in your BC. You could also find it from the extension management page in BC.

All,

Many thanks for your replies. Forgot to mention that we are using LS retail as well which is the POS side of things. Not sure if that makes a difference though.
