Hello all!
My first issue is that when I create an Annotation (also called Note) entity with the SDK in the CRM, I want to change the CreatedBy field. I don't want it to be created by the current user, with which I'm connected to the CRM.
The detailed situation is the following:
We are integrating Dynamics CRM with an other software use, which is called OpenDental(abrr. OD). We are synchronizing the contacts so far and the next plan is to synchronize Notes. The notes which are in the CRM related to Contacts and there are Comments related to Cotnacts in the other software.
When a Comment is copied as a Note to the CRM I want assign the Creator to be the person who created it in the other System. (the users are present also in CRM and in OD)
Is this possible?
I don't necessary want to change the CreatedBy attribute. I would be happy with a workaround. The goal is, that the CRM users can see who wrote the Note. But there is no way to add a new attribute to the Annotation entity as far as I know. So I can not administrate this in an other field.
Thanks for the help!
Tamas
