It is possible to make mandatory any fields on create customer by POS ?

It is possible to make mandatory Address information fields on create customer by POS ? (Street, ZipCode, etc.)

There is no OOB configuration available to mark field(s) as mandatory in the address form. A customization will be required.

Why is there an asterisk on some fields? for example the name
Isn't it possible to set for other fields too? or in any case customization is necessary
