Build in App that incorporates Customer Journey functionality

Hi,

Is it possible to build a new, separate app that can use the functionality of the Customer Journey app.

I want to keep the Customer details separate from the main department that uses Customer Journey on a regular bases.

The area that will be using this is more B2C than B2B.

We have a Marketing Team but another team would like to be able to send out Customer Journeys, e-mails of event's that are occurring for these specific group of people.

Any advice , links on how this could be achieved would be welcomed...
