Weird Numbers on In-line edit view on Opportunity and Quote-products

Hi

I've recently installed the trial of on-premise dynamics crm 2013 and using the crm 2013 for outlook-plugin on a windows 8 computer. Now I found that when I try to add products to the in-line view on the opportunity- and quote-form the numbers I enter will get all weird.
For example, as soon as I enter 10 in quantity and 10 in price. These numbers gets a bold-style and is shown as 10 000 000 000 or 10 000 000. On the "Add product"-form the numbers are correct and all numbers and the sum is correct on the quote/opportunity outside of the in-edit view, but the in-edit view shows each number like it was multiplied by 100 000 000.

Did anyone else experience this and how to fix it?

    Hello Marcus,

    I tried to check the same issue on my CRM 2013 and it did not show me any such issue. Can you please share your steps with me to check if its an issue with CRM 2013.

    In case we don't see this with any other 2013 organization, we need to check the customizations you have in your CRM environment. JScripts or any other custom codes.

    Hey there,

    I have the same issue, I ended up removing the inline editing because of these weird numbers.

    I did post a feedback at MS connect in the pre-release program, but they told me this issue is not reproducible...

    I suspected it was related to number formats, but I did not have time to investigate this issue any further.

    This is a completely new and clean installation of CRM 2013, no customisations has been done at all. Thought, I am using Swedish format, but it's the same even if I change formating.
    Below is a picture of the in-line edit.

    Below is a Picture of how it looks when I double click on the "Quote/Opportunity-procuct", in this case the upper one.

    This error also happens when I use a browser and connect to the CRM-server.
    When I enter all numbers it looks correct, but after I've finished and the row gets "updated" it transform all numbers to what you see above. If i click refresh it shows, for just a short time, the actual numbers before it transform all numbers to what you see above.

    Hi,

    we have the same problem. It looks like that it only appears on on-premise systems. Our CRM Online works fine. We have German localization activated. Any ideas?

    Same thing here! With French localization.

    I have tried to make a feedback to MS here:

    Did someone open a support case at MS for this?

    Hi,

    I opened up a support case for the issue. The support consultant confirmed that it is a bug and he send a request to the product group. So we have to wait on bugfix from them.

    Almost same situation here. When I type a decimal value in quantity field, it automacttly changes to an integer value. If I type 0.5, it turns into 5, if I type 1,2 it turns to 12. Both in inline or form mode.

    Microsoft answered my support case. The bugfix for the issue will be included in UR2 (!!!). So we will have to live with this bug for some time.

    I find it very strange they couldn't find this bug before release. It didn't take me more than 5 minutes before I stumbled upon it.

    Though, it is great to know it will be fixed eventually.
