Hi Folks,
We have got into major issue in Production. Till 15-Aug-2020, Saturday our PRODUCTION was working very fine.
Existing Scenario - We were storing text files on FTP server, it was very smooth. We used to save almost 40-50 files on the FTP server in 1 go.
On FTP server, we are storing many text files from different functionality. Everything was working good.
On Sunday, we had scheduled Microsoft security update, about which we received an email intimation on Tuesday.
After this security update, Our production system was not able to store all the text files on FTP server. Instead of 40-50 files, we are able to store only 10/20 files.
Because of this, our all the functionality which was based on FTP files are on toss now.
Same issue has occurred in UAT box also; After MS Security enhancement updates it is not working as it was working before.
I am really not able to understand what went wrong from Saturday to Monday except MS security enhancement update.
Conclusion - Some of the files are printing and some are not able to print after MS security update.
Sharing with you the exact error.
I am really looking forward to community as no one is able to guide much in this scenario including MS.
It would be great if you can throw some light on it.

Hi,
Instead of FTP, you can use Azure storage /SharePoint to store the data. For all the file handling/ data transfer, you can use Power automate/Logic apps. Check the example here: msdynamicsworld.com/.../how-use-power-automate-extract-data-microsoft-dynamics-365-finance-and-operations-data
Use your favorite search engine and you will get a lot of examples for Power automate and logic apps on the internet.

My problem got resolved.
MS had applied security updates to PRODUCTION, and in that update they were somehow blocking FTP access.
So we have reverted the security update on PROD, it started working well again.
But MS has suggested us some solutions for this FTP access issue which are following :
3rd option about powerapps, I have no clue about this. If anyone can throw some light on it, it would be great.
Also, if you have any other better option in lieu of FTP, please do suggest.

We have raised a ticket with the MS.
But I am not able to find anything related to Security updates in History Log of the PROD environment.
Yes, I am trying to reproduce the same scenario in DEV box.
