I have a problem: How can I retrieve the "Lot No" value in the Posted Sales Invoice screen?

Hello.
I have a problem: How can I retrieve the "Lot No" value in the Posted Sales Invoice screen?
"Lot No" is present in the "Posted Item Tracking Lines" screen. In the "Item Ledger Entry" table, I can't find a valid relationship between the "Item Ledger Entry" table and the "Sales Invoice Line" table in which I can retrieve the "Lot No" value.

    You're trying to retrieve the Lot No. on the Posted Sales Invoice screen in Business Central, but you're only seeing it in the Posted Item Tracking Lines screen. You're also noticing that the Document No. differs between the Sales Invoice Line and the Item Ledger Entry, making it hard to link them directly.
     
    How to Retrieve Lot No. on Posted Sales Invoice:
    To get the Lot No. associated with a Posted Sales Invoice, you need to follow this chain of relationships:
    1. Sales Invoice Line â†’ Item Ledger Entry No. (via the Value Entry table)
    2. Item Ledger Entry â†’ Entry No. (used in Item Tracking Entry)
    3. Item Tracking Entry â†’ Lot No.
     
    Step-by-Step Navigation:
    Start from the Posted Sales Invoice Line:
    - Get the Document No. and Line No.
    Go to the Value Entry table:
    - Filter by Document No. and Source Type = Sales Invoice Line
    - Get the Item Ledger Entry No.
    Go to the Item Tracking Entry table:
    - Filter by Item Ledger Entry No.
    - Retrieve the Lot No. from here
     
    Alternative: Create a Custom Report or Page Extension
    If this is a frequent requirement, consider creating a custom report or page extension that:
    Joins Sales Invoice Line â†’ Value Entry â†’ Item Ledger Entry â†’ Item Tracking Entry
    Displays the Lot No. directly on the Posted Sales Invoice screen

    Hello,

    In Business Central, the Lot No. from the Posted Item Tracking Lines is not stored directly in the Sales Invoice Line. This is because the invoice is linked to inventory movements indirectly through the shipment. To retrieve the Lot No. for a posted sales invoice, you need to follow this chain: start from the Sales Invoice Line, identify the Sales Shipment No., and use that to find the corresponding Item Ledger Entry. Then, link the Item Ledger Entry to the Item Tracking Entry table (based on the Item Ledger Entry No.). From the Item Tracking Entry, you can retrieve the associated Lot No. value. So while the document numbers differ (as the invoice and ledger represent different stages), the lot number can still be traced through these underlying relationships.
