Can you delete sales ledger accounts if they have historical transactions?

For example, a historical customer has contacted you after a number of years and requested that their account be deleted.   They have old transactions, but does it allow you to delete the record?

    Hi,

    Yes, A customer can be deleted in Business Central, as long as they don't have open transactions and the existing closed transactions all belong to closed years. Then it is possible.

    Customer with open transactions cannot be deleted.

    And customers with closed transaction in Fiscal Years that have not been closed yet cannot be deleted.
